How do I place an order?

Will my package look just like the photo?

Sharp Presents does reserve the right to make substitutions. We do find the need to make substitutions at various times throughout the year.  Not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently. Please be aware that at times substitutions of a variance in flavor, fragrance or packaging will occur.  Refunds, discounts or a new gift being shipped will not be offered due to a substitutions.  Customers agree to occasional substitutions by placing your order with us.  We do not notify customers prior to component substitutions being made, as all substitutions are made with discretion using similar products of equal or greater value. 

What is your return policy?

If for any reason other than damages or errors on the part of Sharp Presents, a customer wants to return a gift, they may do so at their own expense plus an additional 50% restocking fee within 3 days of the gift being delivered. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

If Sharp Presents has committed an error (excluding substitutions within standard parameters) or a gift is damaged in transit, Sharp Presents will retrieve the gift and refund it in full or re-ship it. However, we do not at any time allow recipients to keep a gift and receive a new one or a complete refund. For us to assist you the original gift must be retrieved. Discounts will not be offered, retrieving the gift and re-shipping or refunding are the only options.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Apple Pay, Discover, PayPal and Shopify Pay.

When can I expect my delivery?

You will be provided with an estimated delivery date on all ground orders. Please note that this is only an estimated delivery date; you will need to choose an expedited shipping method to guarantee a specific delivery date.  Gifts are sent without a required signature; occasionally the courier may determine that the location is not safe to leave an unattended package and will attempt delivery at a later date.

Shipping occurs Monday through Friday.  No shipping occurs on Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday.  All orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day Air shipping on either Saturday, Sunday, or by 1:00 PM on Monday, will ship on Monday. Orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day Air shipping Monday through Friday prior to 1:00 PM ship the same day. Air orders placed after 1:00 PM ship the next business day.  Ground orders placed before the 1:00 PM cut off may ship within 1-2 business days and are not guaranteed to ship the sale day. Ground orders placed after the 1:00 PM cut off will ship within the next two business days.  For example, a ground orders placed at 7:20 PM on Tuesday night will ship on Wednesday or Thursday.  Ground orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship Monday or Tuesday.

Are there special shipping policies in place for the holidays?

Yes. Holiday shipping is from December 1st, 2018 through January 4th, 2019.  Ground orders placed before the 1:00 PM cut off on Monday through Friday will ship within 2-3 business days and are not guaranteed to ship the same day. For example, an order placed over the weekend or Monday prior to 1:00 PM may ship by Wednesday, the latest.  Although most orders do ship the same day or the next day or the order date, we can not guarantee that all orders will.

The Holiday Ground Deadline is 1:00 PM on Wednesday, 12/19/2018. Ground orders places prior to this cut-off are guaranteed to ship prior to December 25th.  (Please take into consideration the 2-3 day lead time on ground orders during the month of December.)  Ground orders placed after 1:00 PM on Wednesday, 12/19/2018 are not guaranteed to ship prior to the holiday closing.  We will continue to ship orders out in the order in which they were received and make every effort to ship every order we receive through Thursday 12/20/2018 by 10 AM.

The Holiday Air Shipping Deadline is 10:00Am on Thursday 12/20/2018.  Air orders placed prior to this cut-off are guaranteed to ship prior to December 25th.  All air orders placed after 10:00 AM on Thursday, 12/20/2018 will not ship until Thursday 12/27/2018.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

No. We currently do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

How much will my local hand delivery cost?

We are happy to deliver your basket in person. If you select Hand Delivery at checkout, you will receive a separate bill for your delivery charge. See the list below for local delivery rates.

Orders will be delivered/shipped within 24 to 48 hours (depending on our existing orders).  Orders during the holidays may require extra time.

We hand deliver to the following areas:  Lake George, Queensbury, Cleverdale, Pilots Knob, Glens Falls, Fort Ann, Diamond Point, South Glens Falls, Moreau, Warrensburg, Hudson Falls, Bolton Landing, Fort Edward, Gansevoort, Greenwich, Saratoga, local hospitals, local colleges, and all local hotels/conference centers. Please call for delivery estimates on other areas.

Local Delivery charges range from $12.00 to $30.00 and will be added to your order after the check-out process.  You will receive a second invoice for the shipping fee.  The local delivery fee will be based upon the recipient’s zip code.

If the destination city for your gift is not included in the above list, then the gift is shipped via the service you pick at checkout.  At any time, you are welcome to contact us before ordering to get a delivery estimate on areas not listed above.

During the checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to add delivery details, such as a particular date/time.

If you are ordering on Friday or over the weekend, your order will be processed on Monday.  Local Saturday delivery is available on certain orders for an additional fee.  Saturday delivery requests must be placed by phone and submitted by Thursday, 11:00 AM.

What if we get an incorrect or incomplete address?

If we ship a gift basket to an incorrect address them it will be returned to us.  Unfortunately, we would be charged a flat $15 fee to return the package, which we must in turn charge you.  Once a package with an incorrect or incomplete address has left the building there is little we can do.  On occasion we can reroute a package to the proper address for a fee of $15 but this is not always successful.  Either way the package will be returned to us and must be sent back out for delivery.  UPS and USPS do not always call us to tell us that there is a problem delivering the package and we often do not find out there is a problem until the package is returned.  In these rare instances, we ask for your patience and promise in return to do everything in our power to make sure your gift basket arrives in perfect condition and as soon as humanly possible.

What if the gift is going to a hospital?

If a gift is being shipped to a hospital or a patient, it is delivered to a receiving area.  From there, the hospital staff brings the package to a patient’s room.  This process could delay the package from being delivered to a recipient for several hours and, depending on the time of day that it is initially delivered, the package might not get to the recipient until the next day.  This process is to ensure the safely and privacy of the patients in the hospital.  Please note: If you select your gift to be delivered on the weekend, its delivery can be delayed by this process.

What if the gift is going to a college?

If a gift is being shipped to a college, the package is most often delivered to the Campus Mail Room.  This occurs even when an exact address, complete with door number, is on a package.  This is a security measure most colleges put in place to ensure that safety of their students.  Please note: If you select your gift to be delivered on the weekend, its delivery can be delayed by this process.

What if the gift is going to a business?

If a gift is being shipped to a business, UPS and USPS will deliver the package to the designed area where they deliver all other packages to the company.  This may be a receiving area, a welcome desk, or an administrative desk. Many companies do not allow the delivery drivers to inter an office in pursuit of a recipient, so once the package has been signed for, it is the companies responsibility to make sure the gift reaches the correct person.

How can I place an order over the phone?

You may order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For phone orders and customer service questions, we are available by phone Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern time: (518) 955-6907. We are closed on New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

What if I do not want to input my credit card number through the Internet to place an order?

Our ordering system utilizes state-of-the-art data encryption to ensure that your personal information will never be viewed by any unauthorized individuals. Although we encourage you to place your order online, you may also call (518) 955-6907 and we will take your order over the phone.

Will I have to pay sales tax on my order?

Some states require that we collect sales tax, generally on the full amount of the order including delivery.  If this is the case, the correct amount will be calculated automatically and show up on your total in the checkout area of our site.

We make every effort to be sure all information on our web site is complete and accurate.  If an error does occur, we reserve the right to make all necessary corrections.
